How to Comment?

Unless you are attending a public hearing, all comments must be in writing and they must be received during the comment period. There are a couple of ways to submit comments.

Using the online form:

The easiest and fastest way to submit your comments is to use the comment form available on the SCAG Connect SoCal website. Comments submitted online will be routed to the appropriate SCAG staff person to review.

  • To ensure your Draft Connect SoCal plan comments are routed to the appropriate SCAG staff person, please submit your comments based on the topic/category area in the Draft Connect SoCal plan that you are addressing. Please use the dropdown list as part of the form to select the correct chapter/topic area for each comment that you submit.
  • Comments submitted online can have attachments. Please submit any attachments in an unlocked PDF format and/or in Microsoft Word. If submitting a signed letter in PDF format, please also consider attaching a corresponding Microsoft Word document. This will help SCAG staff ensure that comments are accurately copied into our database.

Submitting comments by U.S. Mail:

If you would prefer to send your comments via U.S. Postal Service (must be postmarked on or before January 24, 2020), please mail to:
