The Commenting Period for the Draft Connect SoCal PEIR is NOW CLOSED.
The Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG), as Lead Agency, has prepared a Draft Program Environmental Impact Report (PEIR) (SCH#2019011061) in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for Connect SoCal (2020-2045 Regional Transportation Plan/Sustainable Communities Strategy). The Draft PEIR serves as a programmatic document that conducts a region-wide assessment of potential significant environmental effects of Connect SoCal.
SCAG is providing a 45-day public review and comment period from December 9, 2019 to January 24, 2020. Written comments will be accepted no later than 5:00 p.m. on January 24, 2020. Comments may be submitted using the
online form or via email at
The Draft Connect SoCal PEIR is available for download by chapter or as one file. Please note that due to the large file size of the complete report, we strongly recommend that you download it onto your computer before opening the file. All files are in the PDF format.
A public workshop will take place at SCAG’s Los Angeles Office located at 900 Wilshire Blvd., Ste 1700, Los Angeles, CA 90017 on Thursday, January 9, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Due to limited spacing, an optional RSVP link for the workshop is available at
